"Just because you can’t see where something ends, that does not mean it cannot be beautiful."

If "different" means that things are not as you thought it would be, close your eyes, be still, and breathe: remember, there are many layers to things, and perhaps your purpose for being here lies beyond what you can see. Maybe it’s that fire in your heart that is still being ignited. Maybe you thought you had a good understanding of where you were headed, but you were only just beginning. Maybe you were made for more, Greatness that is far beyond the shore, and it will take great courage to journey there, and it is here, you are being prepared.

So venture out into the water. And when you do, let it remind you that just because you can’t see where something ends, that does not mean it cannot be beautiful. It does not mean that you cannot bravely venture out, despite all of your doubts. Even though you cannot fully comprehend the ocean's depths. May today be one of those days that you can embrace your deepest uncertainty this way; accepting it for what it is, while not hindering you from moving forward.

If you are struggling with changing things, take heart. You are being called to a deeper place today. You are being called beyond the shore to a place where you have never been before. Keep your eyes open as you venture out today. The water may be colder here, and the ocean floor may seem too far away but there is no need to be afraid. You are going to be strengthened here.

Pursue peace out here on the water.
Embrace its endless depth.
yes, things are different
but they can remind you:
you are far from finished yet.

Uncertainty might mean that you have to live with the unknown, but it also means that you get to live with the hope that there is still more to come. You still get to believe that despite what you cannot see, there is more ahead of you that is worth waiting for. It does not matter how many times you have been letdown in the pass. It does not matter how you have failed or what you have let go. There are shadows, but there is also beauty in the unknown. There are also opportunities to learn and grow. To try new things. Meet new people. See the most ordinary spaces you frequent everyday in new, extraordinary ways. Yes, things are different here, but you are still free to believe this is possible. You are still free to trust that there is more, far beyond the ocean shore.
